I study the natural world of Africa, as well as the writing systems of Ancient Egypt, focusing on the Predynastic period, the Old Kingdom, and the 25th Dynasty. I don’t talk much about the royal house, as it doesn’t interest me; instead, I focus on the people in and around the country (when I do talk about the people). Obviously, the royal families can’t be avoided altogether, but most of my content won’t be about that aspect of the civilization.
